Art & Design
Apart from my academic and professional pursuits in Mechanical Engineering and Physics, I love creating art and designing various crafts in my free time.
Perhaps because I love working most with my hands, I believe that art should be tactile, whether it is in the process of creation or the finished form. In this way, I've always gravitated towards mediums such as embroidery, paints and pastels, as well as charcoal sketches.
My most recent interest lies in intaglio prints, as I love the mechanical process behind each print and admire how art and engineering are meshed together to make our world ever more beautiful.
I've collected here a few of my favourite works, as well as their inspiration.

Intaglio Prints
During my last semester of university, I pushed myself to take classes outside of my required STEM courses. One of the courses I took was an intro to intaglio printmaking course, where I fell in love with the process in creating prints and etchings. I loved learning the many mechanical, chemical, and physical processes of intaglio print-making, and I hope to be able to continue this new-found passion. Below are a few of my favourite editions that I had completed for my final project for this course.
